Is so much fun.

cooking
We got new appliances!
We are so excited!
Never thought I would get to a place in my life where purchasing appliances would make such a difference in my world. Who am I kidding, I don't cook as much as C does, so they have made a much bigger impact on his life.
Our range died last Friday, so we were forced to drive over to Lowe's and get a new one. We had been talking about getting a new dishwasher for a while, so we got one of those while we were there. And we didn't want the microwave to be mismatched (all of our appliances are/were white) with the range so we threw one of those in too. They have all been great. We did not realize how poorly our appliances had been functioning.
Now we want a new fridge!

walking z
FINALLY!
Sorry, this has taken me so long to get posted.
I am working on getting more videos up.
(It's really nice to look back at videos, no matter how bad they are.)
It's crazy how much Z has changed in just 3 mos (since he started in the 1 year old room at school). We thought he would just start walking as soon as he moved up, but he still took his sweet time.
Now he can't be stopped!

playing in the snow
Late spring snow makes for a couple of happy little boys!
C and I shoveled while Z & W had fun. We also took a trip around the block in sleds.

dinner
The boys watching Wreck It Ralph and eating tuna salad rolls. They did not enjoy the dinner as much as we had hoped, but really enjoyed the movie.

kindergarten sneak peek
W and I went to Breck Elementary this morning to check out what kindergarten will be like for him next year. I can't believe he's going to kindergarten already! Where have these past 5 years gone?
He had a blast. He was a bit quiet but I was so proud. (There were a few kids that would not leave their mom's). This is a photo of his kindergarten buddy, Reedo. He happened to be a graduate of Carriage House so W knew him, somewhat.

rockin'
More photos that I found on the camera last night, which
were taken a while ago.
I am great at taking the photos just not
at downloading them.
Zeph loves to be like his older brother. W was coloring and listening to music, so Z wanted to do the same. He did more plugging in and unplugging his headphones from his mp3 player then coloring though. Yes, that's right, they both have their own players. Zeph is really into anything techy (phones, mp3 players, remotes, computers, etc).

swimming lessons
Wentzle started swim lessons with his BFF, Colton on Monday night. He liked it!
He has three more lessons. I am not what to expect at the end of only 4 lessons, but already W seems to be making progress.
Zeph on the other hand is too comfortable in the water. We will be signing him up next for lessons.
W actually sticking his face in the water and using his goggles for their intended purpose!
I am already impressed with the instructor, she got W to go down the blue slide. Last time we went swimming, we tried and tried to get him to go down the slide and he wanted nothing to do with it. Zeph needed no convincing, he went down the slide over and over and over.
powder day!
We headed to Peak 7 on Saturday to enjoy a powder day with W and Z.
Z explored the entire base area as C and I traded off riding with W. It was a lot of fun.
W got hot cocoa as usual, but Z ended up drinking most of it.
W shredding in fresh powder.
W had his first "yard sale" on his last run. It was bound to happen. He did really good considering that it snowed all day and the runs just keep getting deeper.

tubing
I just found these photos lsat night, they had gotten left on the camera.
Back in February we had made a trip to the Frisco Adventure Park for tubing and a visit with Scooby Doo (one of W's favorite cartoons).
As you can see from the photos, W was all about photos ops and high fives with Scooby.

Zeph on the other hand only wanted to view Scooby from afar.
It was a beautiful day. W and C took a few runs while Zeph and I watched from the bottom.
W would have loved to keep tubing, but it's a bit expensive at $21.25 per hour per person (which is the discounted Summit County resident rate) It's $25 for visitors. We opted for the $5 per run option. C also got a couple of free runs since they are a customer of his. I think W needs to get some old school sledding in before he gets too spoiled and thinks that all sledding has a magic carpet to take you to the top.
Zeph enjoying snacks.
Can't ever leave home with out snacks (not even to the post office).
pizza party
W got invited to a pizza party at Mad's house this past weekend. It was crazy! C and I had contemplated doing this for W's birthday, but have since reconsidered. So, much screaming, running and yelling. The kids did have fun as did the adults. Jenny (Mad's mom) knows how to throw a party. There were bloodys and mimosas along with snacks for all the moms that hung around to watch the comotion.
Colton and W (and Jax's, Mad's little bro) were the only boys amongst 9 girls!
