My little man is growing up. W started his first day of kindergarten at Breckenridge Elementary yesterday. He was very excited (really, he's been excited for the last 3 months so he was happy it was finally happening). We were excited as well, maybe even a little more than he was. Mrs. Schroeder is his teacher. She is super duper nice.
We expected him to overflow with details about his first day when he got home. Instead we got a sarcastic "It was great!". As the evening unfolded, we were able to get a little more from him.
Details we extracted from W about school:
* they have ipads for the kids to use (he was really excited about this)
* he met his 5th grade buddy and he has a yellow mohawk (still waiting on his name)
*he doesn't sit with Maddie, Jayson or Tonti (who are classmates from Carriage House)
* he does sit next to a girl named Anna, he thinks
* he has to seat at the "Angry Peanut" table at lunch
* he wants hot lunch
* he can't bring Duckie, because they don't take naps
We can't wait to hear what he has to say about today!
