christmas morning

Christmas Day was a whirl wind this year.  We were lucky that it didn't start until 7:30 am.  We actually had to help W get up!  I guess he needed his sleep after staying up so late the night before.  Here are some highlights from our morning.  It was hard to narrow down all of the photos that were taken (thanks to our new camera).

Santa was very good to the boys this year.  W got a playmobil pirate ship, razor scooter & a wrestling buddy.  Z got a wooden activity cube and alligator walker.

W and Z taking it all in.

The pirate ship was a hit with both boys.

W helped us with our stockings and then took a spin on his new razor.  (he was kind of bummed that we live where is snows because he wanted to take some laps around the block).

"What, I can't hear you"
Zeph using his new headphones.

And let the unwrapping begin!
W blazed through all of his gifts in less than 30 minutes.  Then he helped Zeph (because he lost interest after opening two presents) and then he also helped C and I.

As we opened present, both sets of grandparents watched via Skype.
W did a great job of showing them everything he got.

Both kids got tools .

W in his new robe (he's actually been asking for one for a while.)

Zeph enjoying his morning milk after a morning of mayhem.

I think the race track was one of W's favorite gifts.

christmas eve

We had company for Christmas this year.  Aunt Linds came back and brought a friend.  It was fun to have company.  We had a mix of appetizers for dinner and then it was time for presents.  We let the kids opens gifts from relatives on Christmas Eve.

W was very excited to open gifts this year, big surprise.  Zeph needed a bit of help unwrapping his gifts.  W gladly helped with this.

Zeph checking out the Robot he got from G-pa & G-ma Shotts.

W got a race car track from G-pa & G-ma Shotts.  It was a hit (with everyone).

W showing off his new monkey bag.
(He took this on our trip to Florida - worked great!)

W posing next to his cardboard choo choo.

As I said, the race track was a big hit. It took up most of the night and our living room.

Deli helped W put together his new Spiderman Legos that he got from Aunt Linds.
