I got this recipe from watching Noodle & Doodle one Saturday morning. Who would have thought that a kids show would be a good place for recipes? (This show is also a great place to find crafts.)
We modified our boats a bit and they turned out good (click here if you are interested in making your own frittata boats). The kids didn't devour them like we had hoped. Granted, W is not a big fan of eggs (which is a major ingredient in this recipe). I have found that if you want W to eat, presentation must be considered. He really likes when his food looks like a bug or butterfly, just about anything but what it actually is. Since it's easy to change up the ingredients, I think we will definitely try these again - maybe just change up the presentation a bit.
