We headed to Keystone recently to check out the Lego Oasis. Which was a really cool exhibit that ran for about two weeks. The boys had fun building and posing with all of the lego figures. We had fun just people watching.
We started out with a late brunch at Wolfrock and then headed to Ripperoo's Cabin (which is always a must when we visit Keystone).
W posed with the Baker and Gingerbread Man.
Last time we saw Rudolph and the Dancing Tree from afar, but were never able to catch up with them.
W was really hoping to see them on this trip.
Zeph wasn't afraid of this Santa.
Zeph petting the Lego Dog.
W got right into building.
If we lived closer to a Lego store, we could spend more time hanging out just building.
Zeph even got into "building".
We ran into W's friend Eli (from school) at the Lego Oasis.
Here they are waiting for the Ripperoo Parade to go by. They got high fives and noise makers from the parade as it went by. It's not very big. Ski School Instructors and kids that were in lessons that day start at the gondola and parade through part of the Village, ending at the ice skating rink with hot cocoa, smores and dancing. They sometimes have kettle korn, which is a family fav.
After the parade we hung out at the playground with Eli and his little bro and mom.
Zeph tried over and over to climb the side like his big bro. C had to help him to the top a couple of times.
We ended the day with W puking.
Not a concern, he has done this in the past.
He can get coughing really hard when he has been running around a lot, he pukes and then he is fine.
